Please join us for a very special one-day workshop where we will create portraits for refugee or poverty-stricken children in a third world country. Help cultivate global kindness by creating portraits for children around the world who have faced substantial challenges, such as violence, war, extreme poverty, neglect, and loss of parents. These portraits offer children a small ray of hope: other people know who they are and want to do something nice for them.

This 2.5 hour workshop will walk you through the process of transferring the drawing, and you may choose your medium based on personal preference. Bring your own supplies if you have a favorite set, or use supplies provided by the studio. Art Instructor Eileen will help you throughout the process to create a realistic rendering of the child. At the end of the workshop, we’ll photograph all the artwork, and pack the originals up to be sent directly to the children we drew.
